The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Davao del Norte recently spearheaded a vital Coordination Meeting, Orientation, and Action Planning session to boost the local coconut industry!

This activity focuses on a landmark partnership; Victory Farms Agrarian Reform Cooperative will target to produce and supply Coconut Pre-Boiled Sap—the essential raw material for the high-value coco sugar of Healthy Sweets Mindanao Corp.

 

This collaboration provides our farmers with the comprehensive tools and knowledge needed to thrive. Participants were oriented on several government programs implemented by DTI and DAR such as CFIDP, RAPID Growth Project, SSF, CARP and VLFELD.

 

To ensure the quality of production and its feasibility, the team has set a pre-trial testing and commissioning scheduled for the last week of January, marking the official start of this production journey.

 

By transforming raw coconut sap into pre-boiled material at the farm level, our agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) can increase household income, add value to their harvest directly at the source and at the same time ensure a steady, high-quality supply for local enterprises like Healthy Sweets Mindanao Corp.
