Earlier today, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Davao del Norte, through the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) and in partnership with our local Negosyo Centers and CARP Program, officially turned over premium packaging materials and customized sticker labels to two of our coconut based organizations, the Victory Farm Agrarian Reform Cooperative and Anibongan Guadalupe Coconut Farmers Organization (AGCFO).

 

This initiative aims to transform their locally-produced Coconut Vinegar from a community staple into a market-ready brand. By providing high-quality glass bottles and professionally designed labels, we are helping our coconut farmers to enhance product shelf life and safety, increase market competitiveness and “shelf appeal” and later boost the income of our local coconut farmers and processors.

 

Through the CFIDP, DTI remains committed to empowering our coconut farmers by providing the tools, training, and branding necessary to thrive in the modern market.
